I am an Accredited EMDR and BACP Therapist offering therapy to adults, children and young people and practice from my office at the Beacon Centre in Chafford Hundred. I am also a Certified Cyber Therapist and provide therapy online through Zoom and FaceTime. I’ve been a therapist for 16 years and have worked in a variety of settings.

I work with Children’s Social Care in Thurrock and Essex to provide therapy to Adopted Children and Looked After Children in Foster Care . My work with Adopted Children is funded by the Adoption Support Fund.

I have a particular interest in working with neurodiversity (Autism Spectrum Condition and ADHD).

I specialise in working with trauma and in my EMDR practice I’ve worked with clients who serve in the military and the police as well as with children and young people who have experienced trauma.

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a powerful therapy designed to help people recover from traumatic events in their lives. EMDR is recognised by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). I am an accredited member of the EMDR Association UK.

I am a consultant, associate supervisor and facilitator for Leeds Beckett University’s Carnegie School of Education and provide group supervision to headteachers of special schools as well as to senior leadership teams in mainstream schools. In my private practice I deliver supervision to counsellors, headteachers, deputy head teachers, pastoral leads and safeguarding leads.

As a facilitator at Leeds Beckett University’s Carnegie School of Education, I facilitate online workshops on reflective supervision and peer to peer supervision.
